Hey, hey Rudolph!

Hey, hey Rudolph!

This week has certainly been a busy one!

School, therapies, shopping, dance, piano, spider bites, field trips, and doctors appointments!

I’m so pleased to say that I just have so many awesome praises that I’d love to share with y’all today!

School! My girls last day of school before they’re out for Christmas break is tomorrow and we’re all excited to share some time together; just us three gals! On a super exciting note, my oldest is in the Academics Club at school and they had their first meet of the year just yesterday, they placed 1st place!! She was so excited! District Champs! This is her 1st year in academic club and she’s really enjoying the after school club meetings. I’m really excited for her, all of them! Yay!

My oldest also got a spider bite Sunday night! Yikes! Bless her sweet little self! She’s really taken it all in stride! By the way, in case you’re wondering, I found the spider in her room! It was a wolf spider . . . and now it’s a dead spider. Anyway when my 4 year old got into the car yesterday she looked at her sister and told her that she looked like Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer!

Hahahaha! Oh bless them both! Forgive my 4 year old, she is . . . well, she’s 4. We’re still working on tact with that one and if I’m being transparent with you, I laughed. A lot. The good news, her sister is amazing and good hearted, and laughed, too! Her sister said, “Cons: it hurts and itches and I don’t have Spiderman powers. Pros: Heyyyy, I’m ready for Christmas!” She’s such a good sport! I love those girls so much!

So we did a thing today! The oldest got her cast off! Her wrist is stiff from being immobile, hopefully that will change soon, but the pain in her hand is still there – the same as before. Please join me in praying that she’ll heal completely. She gets to keep the cast off, I call the doctor in a few weeks if she’s still hurting but we’re believing for no pain!

Now it’s my turn! Arm injuries come in threes, right? Both of my kids have hurt their arms this year so why be left out? Oh my stars! I’m currently waiting for my appointment with the orthopedic doctor and my MRI. At least we all did it in the same year, and we’ll start the new year off right, maybe all healed? HA! My arm was actually hurt before either of theirs, it’s been hurting for some time, but I just pushed it off for as long as I could because in the words of Sweet Brown, “Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That!”

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
