New Beginnings
Today has been such a fun and exciting day! So many things have happened . . . I can’t even begin to tell you how ridiculously great it’s been! I’m going to send out a newsletter in the next week to tell you everything new that’s going on! So exciting! This is definitely a season of new beginnings! If you haven’t signed up for my newsletter yet, you can do that while you’re here!
Today my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. I actually told him, “Happy Anniversary”, first – that’s never happened before. He’s so competitive so I’m taking that one as a win to start my new year, lol.
Oh my word, I’ll spare you pics but my father-in-law, Rob, had a cancer removed from his neck. It’s called a squamous cell cancer. I suspected it was cancer the moment I saw it (the biopsies confirmed they got it all, yay, God!), but this evening my 4 year old started talking about her papa. She was concerned for him. She wanted to know if his neck was hurting. We told her that his neck healed and he’s fine. She didn’t believe us. She asked, “But WHY did he have a volcano on his neck?” We died. We could barely hold the laughter. We told her that he didn’t have a volcano on his neck. She insisted that he did. We finally assured her that the baby volcano is, indeed, gone and that Papa is fine and his skin is better.
Bless her bones.
Never a dull moment.
I wasn’t able to get my Bible reading done this morning with everything else that is going, so I’m going to get busy with that. I’m so excited to hear how your new year is starting out! Leave me a comment below or message me!
Grace and Peace
