I’m bananas for you!

I’m bananas for you!

This happened today. Are you kidding me? This actually happened today.

So my four year old and I went to feeding therapy today and she did really well, just like last week, woohoo!! She ate a little applesauce and even bit into a muffin even though that led to some terrible gagging, but she chose to try PINEAPPLE, of all things . . . this was by our strict elimination code: Eeny Meeny Miny Moe! Hahahaha! (By the way, that’s her “makeup” on her cheeks, lol.)

Her therapist and her sliced into it and cut it into pieces and when she tried it she gave a big thumbs up and smiled before grabbing another piece.

This isn’t something that just happens. She has to be prompted into trying food or taking more bites over and over again before eating more, every single time, but not this time!

She ate so much pineapple!

I sat there and giggled. I mean, really. Go figure! The one food that causes an anaphylactic reaction in me, if I consume it, and it’s the one thing that she’s mad about!

Bahahahahahahaha!

Such is life!

I certainly needed a good laugh this week and the Lord is my provider! ❤️

I’m bananas for you, little sister!

Errrr, maybe pineapples!? I’m pineapple-y for you?! Lol

God is so good. He’s just so good. I’ve been praying for her to eat like this for so long and here she is, eating like crazy even if it’s just pineapples; she’s shoveling them in her mouth. She’s just eating them really good and that’s what we’ve prayed for. He answers prayers and sometimes those prayers are giving us pineapples.
