Amazon Prime Day
I’ve never done the whole Amazon Prime Day thing but this year I took a peak and even signed up for the free trial for Prime Membership so I could see what the fuss was all about. For full disclosure, I don’t have the time or energy to really look around. I had shoulder surgery a week ago and it hurts like mad, so I’m not going to scroll aimlessly and endlessly through Amazon for hours searching, especially when there’s nothing in particular I’ve got a need for at the moment.
I did give a gentle recommendation to some friends to check out this book because hey, I think you should, too. It’s not really listed as a Prime Deal but if you’re already shopping for Amazon Prime Day there’s no reason not to add it to your cart.
My daughter loves God & she loves all things science, but you guys, kids can ask some complicating questions! I know a lot of you are going to take advantage of Amazon Prime Day so I encourage you to check this book out before you check out because this guy is so good with his words and I love that he takes all things science (space, oceans, dinosaurs, bodies) to reel our little ones in and open their minds to God’s creation. It’s probably my fave devotional so far (and I actually was all things girly for a while with my girls, only the girlie devotional, but I’m glad I’m past that).
I didn’t think I’d end up buying anything but as soon as I was about to get off of Amazon I saw LAUNDRY DETERGENT on Prime! Not just any, Mrs. Meyers! What!?! So yes, I will def save $ and get me some of that, because why wouldn’t you order a bag (or 3) when you know that your life revolves around laundry!?
There are two things I’m definitely doing today. I’m definitely NOT proofing this, so sorry for any misspelling, I need to go. I’m also definitely going to post soon about how God has just continued to move in mighty ways in our lives! My little one has continued to thrive since coming home (it isn’t all rainbows and peaches, we have struggles), my last workup at my dr was really good, and things are really taking off at one of my jobs. I’m hoping things continue to go up. That talk with my daughter, did I tell you? It went really well (more later) and though my heart was broken, God’s just good to give us the grace to face what comes our way and to walk through it. We need to trust Him and lean into Him. I can’t stop smiling and I’m so excited to see what the second part of this year brings!
Be blessed today friends!
