Amazon Ministry List

Amazon Ministry List

Hi Friends! I wanted to write you today to make you aware of some needs! These are needs that unfortunately will never go away so these amazon wish lists will be updated every year to reflect any changes in needs!

For those who don’t know me, I have a deep love for helping others in any way I can. The last 4 years I’ve struggled with a myriad of health complications and in doing so have had to find more creative ways to help others from home. Some ways I help are through several support groups for people suffering lupus, multiple cranial nephropathy, CRPS, anxiety/depression, and such through emotional support and supplying resources to members. Additionally I have made an Amazon Wish List for Warriors suffering incurable pain syndromes and as someone mentions a need in the group I add it to the wish list, as well as collecting random items to ship out to those struggling with an abundance of health issues, to bless with a care package. I update this once a month, and you can find that list here.

I am a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and as a CASA we support foster children by advocating for them, we’re their voice in court! And we work in helping get them what they want & need through working closely with DHS/CPS and the court system. And the last 4 years I have organized an annual toy drive with my church benefiting the foster children in my county. I made a list of items combined from previous lists foster children have given me over the last five years. I’d also like to start putting together little gift bags for the older foster children (14-17) as they typically don’t receive a gifting like the little kids do, since people tend donate toys targeted for little kids. I will update the list a couple times a year, and you can find that list here.

I love supporting a local dog rescue in my hometown. They’re the only one in my town and it’s ran by a woman and her husband off their own land. They make sure the dogs get everything they need from a vet including shots, spayed, neutered, grooming, toys, beds of their own, and work to foster out & adopt out these pups. They pick up strays when they’re called, some people just drops dogs off at their place which isn’t cool because they’re overrun right now, and they get dozens of calls/emails/texts a month for their services but they have dozens and dozens of dogs right now. We donate goods to them when we can. I’ve made an Amazon Wish List of things that can be donated towards their animal ministry. My daughter is also hoping to volunteer with them some this year, it’s a great place. You can find that list here!

One of my favorite places to support is an orphanage in Africa. A friend of mine is an ambassador for them and the last year they’ve shipped crates to Africa packed full of things for two orphanages and a medical clinic in another town. Right now some of the biggest needs were outside toys, picnic tables and then medical items for the medical clinic, and Bibles. Bibles. Bibles. Bibles. You can find that that Amazon Wish List here to donate and I’ll update this list 2-3x a year!

If you have any interest helping any of these ministries OR would like to know more info about any of them just reach out!! I’ll try to make a post on each of them as I feel better, too!! As always, if you’re a “Venmo Mom” and would like to send a cash gift via paypal, cashapp or venmo instead, I prefer that not come to me, rather I will give you the direct contact info of each organization, thank you for understanding!

What are your favorite ministries/organizations? Let me know!

Grace & Peace
