Thank YOU

Thank YOU

God.

Thank you for your sovereignty.

I’m so thankful you have control over all. I recognize that we, indeed, have free will … but I see me in hindsight when I look back over the past few years of my life, and there were times that were so difficult that I wondered who I was. I would change like leaves, one color – for a long season – and holding onto the branches like the anchor they were. With the next season I’d change colors with the brilliance of different emotions, sometimes full of life, and then with one harsh wind; I would fall. The next season I’d start all over again.

God.

Thank you for your grace, your mercies new every morning. Thank you that I have the opportunity to get back up each day and try again, that I don’t have to stay down, crumpled; falling into pieces on the floor.
