Introducing…Me!

I am Heather’s daughter, Zoey. I am currently 12 years old, and I love barn owls!
This is my very first blog, and for this one I just want to keep it simple and tell a little bit about me.

The first thing is that I absolutely LOVE barn owls and the color yellow. I started to love barn owls when I started reading this series called “Guardians of Ga’Hoole”. It grew to the point where anything I got – I wanted it to be related to owls or anything barn owl.
A little bit more current news is that I finally got a cast yesterday!
It might sound strange that I FINALLY got it.
3 weeks ago, on November 11, I was at my friends house and we went rollerblading. We decided to go down a hill on the street behind her house. Everything was fine until I decided we should go all the way to the top. So, we went to the top, and started coasting down.
Everything was fine until I started to run into slight uneven dips in the road. It was a little tricky to stay balanced, but after a few seconds of no bumps, and seeing I was so close to the bottom, I relaxed.
Then, I hit a HUGE uneven part.
It completely changed my course, so I was hurdling straight towards someones driveway.
I remembered being terrified when I hit, and the feeling of slamming to the ground. It was awful.
It was that kind of pain that is like, “OWW EVERYONE GET AWAY FROM ME RIGHT NOW OUCH!”
I kind of checked myself over as my friend came over, seeing how bad I was hurt. My bottom and knee hurt pretty bad, and my wrist did too. I got up after and crawled to the sidewalk, and began to head back to my friends house, with her guiding me.
When we got there my wrist was pretty swollen, but I thought and hoped it was just a bad sprain. My dad took me to urgent care for some X-Rays. Apparently, they didn’t know if it was fractured or sprained, so they sent it to a radiologist. THEY didn’t know, so November 29 we went to Children’s Hospital and found out.
I broke a piece of my bone off, and now I have a cool but slightly painful ORANGE cast because they DIDN’T HAVE YELLOW. I was pretty disappointed at that.
So this is my first cast. It’s ANNOYING! And I’ve barely had it for 30 hours!
So that’s that.

I’m going to talk about my new favorite Bible verse.
Yesterday when my mom was signing my cast, she asked if I knew what Ephesians 6:1 was. I said no.
And then she actually wrote on my cast ” What does Ephesians 6:1 say?”

Ephesians 6:1
” Children obey your parents in the lord, for this is right.”
LOL
My mom is the best.
Something else important is I have something called misophonia. This is a unique medical condition that means certain noises, called triggers, can cause you to become angry, panicked, and full out ENRAGED. My trigger noises are smacking and most clicking mouth sounds. I’m going to make another blog on this topic, so I’m not going to go into all the details.

So that is a little bit about me. I hope to do many more LONGER blogs soon!
Thanks for reading!
